Pumpkin Flavored Yogurt is Here and it's Amazing: Noosa Pumpkin Flavored Yoghurt Review

I'll argue with anyone that fall is the best season. The reasons I'll win? Cooler weather, leaves, Halloween, allergies are over and finally, the main reason... the final blow: pumpkin flavored everything.

The "orange" is the pumpkin flavor!
I'm not sure there's a food brand out there that hasn't stepped into the seasonal marketing madness.  Every brand is making an apple spiced or pumpkin flavored something-or-other, and of course with the boom in yogurt sales recently we were bound to find the gourd there sooner or later and today in Target, I found it.

Hylamide from DECIEM: A Review

Snail slime, bee venom, horse oil, oh my!

Today it seems that we're up for slathering just about anything on our faces in hopes of results.

There's no limits to our bravery along the quest to younger skin as we encounter the likes of bee venom, starfish cream and even horse oil to help us battle the evil sagging and bagging.
Hylamide SubQ Anti-Age Advanced Serum
and Eye Serum.

But while a lot of these insane ingredients are fun to try and even extremely moisturizing, I have to question just how a bottle of snail slime is going to fix my wrinkles. It seems that a lot of pseudo science and witchcraft are going into these new potions, so much so that I fear we maybe a few months away from 'eye of newt' serums.

Ok, I'll admit, I have had good results from some of them, but I still question which of the ingredients are actually doing the work. Is the bee venom actually brightening my skin tone or is it one of the other 10+ items listed.

Needs More Hype Edition: Givenchy Hydra Sparkling Magic Lip and Cheek Balm

In the early 90s I remember sneaking into my grandmother's beauty box and seeing this crazy green lipstick and immediately, without any question of sanitation or getting grounded, I tried it on. To my 9 year-old dismay it turned fuchsia pink. I was really hoping for green at the time, but the magic still mystified me! This green colored lipstick turned pink!

Givenchy Hydra Sparkle
Flash forward 20 something years and this old trick is still playing new games. While the execution is a bit more subtle and refined, the modern versions of this modifying lip color is now being used by huge brands like Dior with their famous Lip Glow. However, there is a lesser known adaptive luxury lip color from the fashion and beauty house, Givenchy.

I've tried the Dior Lip Glow and while I'm sure the color adjusts nicely on some people, maybe I have the PH of a citrus fruit because it turns my lips a wild shade of peachy orange. After application, my lip color changed to a shade similar to what occurred after I ate Spaghettios when I was a kid- only more glossy. So, obviously I was not impressed.

I tried another one by Tarte and again was unimpressed as my lips took on a florescent fuchsia color. I was about to tiptoe over the trend defeated, when I was browsing through Sephora after a stressful day at work. Givenchy packaging caught my eye and I picked up the Hydra Sparkling Magic Lip and Cheek Balm and tried it on my cheek. Yes, you see even as an adult my sanitation requirements are less than par. Anyway, I'm glad I did try it -bacteria and all- because on my cheek it created a dewy flush very similar the color they turn naturally after a work out..minus all the sweat. The glossy effect was more of a glow and was not at all sticky or tacky on the skin. I really feel that the color and effect made me look younger overall. I purchased the product on the spot and only hoped that it would do wonders for my lips too. I did forego trying it on my lips via the product tester because I do have my limits!

Korean Skincare Haul from Roseroseshop

*First Part Written 6 Months Ago-For Testing Purposes.

Good things come to those who wait, but as a fiery Aries waiting for a self-bought birthday present, I know this saying to be true, yet I still can't stop myself from hating it with a passion.

Since my birthday is around the corner, I decided to treat myself to a plethora of Korean skincare goodies. The good? I love everything. The bad? My Roseroseshop haul took nearly a month to get to me. But patience is a virtue that I'm trying to learn and the package arrived from Korea with 4 days to spare before I turn....well that's my secret.

But I will share one secret with you: Korean skincare is awesome.

Overall, I ordered quite a few things and below are my brief opinions on each one after 6 months with the product. So while I was initially excited about my Roseroseshop haul, as you'll see in my reviews, my opinions changed drastically.
